2025 Federal Civil Service Recruitment Now Open — Apply Within 72 Hours
The Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced the 2025 Civil Service Recruitment exercise. The online application portal is now live, offering eligible Nigerians the opportunity to apply for available positions across various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). Interested applicants are urged to submit their applications within the 72-hour deadline.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), interested applicants are expected to complete and submit the recruitment form within 72 hours from the time of release. The application process is free of charge and open to all eligible Nigerians, regardless of their state of origin or background.
Who Can Apply?
The Civil Service recruitment is earmarked for young, vibrant, and eligible Nigerians who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Computer literacy is an added advantage
- Must have completed the NYSC programme or obtained an exemption certificate
- Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognized institution
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35

Important: All forms must be filled out and submitted within 72 hours from the release date. Late entries will not be considered.
What Happens After You Apply?
After the initial screening, shortlisted interviewers will be contacted through their SMS and email for the next stage, which may include a written test or virtual interview. Final selection will be based on merit, qualification, and performance.
Avoid Scams
The Federal Government has warned applicants not to pay anyone or use agents for the recruitment process. The entire process is free, and no “connection” is needed. All updates will be posted on the official OHCSF website.
