In a firm statement issued by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), the agency categorically disowned the widely viral document, emphasizing that it did not emanate from the NCS. There is no scheduled CBT for July 2025, and any claims to the contrary should be disregarded.

According to the NCS, a close review of the fake announcement revealed:

  • Incorrect formatting and layout
  • Fake e-signature
