What to Expect After the Exam:

Results made known in 3 weeks
Candidates matched to appropriate technical trades
6 to 12 months of practical training
Free starter packs (tools & materials) after training

Why the TVET Program Matters Now

The FG’s decision to scale up the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector comes at a critical time when Nigeria is grappling with high unemployment and increased outsourcing of labor-intensive projects to foreign workers.

This empowerment initiative seeks to reverse that trend by producing certified, job-ready Nigerian youth who can take up roles in both the private and public sectors.

“We can’t grow this economy without welders, plumbers, electricians, and technicians,” said Dr. Mohammed. “The future is in our hands — literally.”
